Madras Curry comes with another spicy authentic most popular recipes from southern India. Prawn Masala, it's one of the easiest recipes that can be prepared in just 30 minutes. Prawn masala is simple yet delicious and, like many Indian dishes, it is packed with flavor. The recipe is quite easy and most of the ingredients are those great spices that generally expected in Indian cuisine. Prawn Masala - Recipe Ingredients: Prawns - 200 gm Cooking oil - 2 Tablespoon Cinnamon - 1 Stick (As Shown) Cloves - 4 Nos. Cardamom pods - 2 Nos. Fennel Seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon Onions - 2 Nos (finely chopped) Salt to Taste Ginger Garlic paste - 1 Tablespoon Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon Chili powder - 1 Tablespoon Coriander powder - 2 Tablespoon Puree of 2 Tomatoes Fresh Coriander Leaves for Garnishing Method: Heat the oil in a frying pan. When hot, toss in the cinnamon stick, cloves cinnamon, and fennel seeds. When whole spices begin to pop. add the chopped onion, fry until they are golden brown, add salt to taste. Stir in the garlic and ginger paste and bring to a good sizzle, now add turmeric powder, Chili powder, Coriander powder, Stir it all up well, then add tomato puree. Now add a half cup of water, Allow this to come to a simmer reduce down until it’s thick for about 5 minutes. Tip in the king prawn (cooked and peeled) and simmer until the prawns are well cooked through & cook till the masala thickens approx. 5minutes. Add coriander leaves and mix.
